ÎLE DE RÈ & LA ROCHELLE
After a long 6 weeks of travel we decided to have a mini holiday at ile de re just over the bridge we cycled to Flotte and St Martin De Re.
Had a look from the clock tower and walked around the harbour and on the fortifications. We had a day in La Rochelle on the Bus and did the three towers and walked around the town and harbour.
We took the van and went to the nature reserve at the top of the island and had a great afternoon on the beach flying the drone. Had a couple of swims in the sea from the local beach.
All in all a nice little holiday so it was off to the grand dune next via a massive traffic jam round Bordeaux.
