The Grand Dune (Dune du Pilat)

The Grand Dune is the largest in Europe over 100m high 600m wide and 3km long . 55 million cubic meters. Bit of a clime to the top but a great view. Visit to Arcachon on the tandem 16Km. We decided to take the ferry to Cap Ferret famous for Oysters and when in Rome we decided to give them a try. Not too bad but we are place where they are farmed. In the evening we watched Red squirrels chasing around the tree tops.
