Had a great day exploring Stockholm. First thing we walked the beautiful old town known as Gamla Stan, watched the Changing of the Guards, and had a great lunch. We then strolled through some of the “new town” to central station. A bit of a walk as they are digging up the area around it! We then took a train & bus out to Drottningholm Palace, beautiful area and wished we could have spent more time there. The next day we made our way to the Vassa museum. The ship foundered after sailing about 1,300 m (1,400 yd) into its maiden voyage on 10 August 1628. Then we went on a boat cruse round Stockholm.
