We came across the to Netherlands via Gütersloh to pick up BBQ supplies for when we get back. We went to Den Helder and visited the lifeboat museum. The south to Zaanse Schans to see the windmills with wood cutting mill and linseed press mill. There used to be over 1000 mills in the area but down to only 20 by 1920. The windmill society was set up to preserve mills and also reconstruct one like the wood cutting mill form old plans. We then headed south to Sas van Gent to stop over before heading for Calais after 100 nights and 8000 miles.
