Venice - Jean's 66th Birthday

We went into Venice for the last time on Jean’s 66th birthday. We started by getting a number 2 waterbus to go down the grand canal. Under the famous Ponte di Rialto and all the way to Piazza San Marco.
We then sat in the square in the sun and had Aperol spritz with nibbles at the famous Caffè Lavena. Watched the world go but as the band played. We then had a walk down to the gardens and visited the statues.
Getting lost along the way before heading back to the waterbus back to the campsite. We had a meal in the bar and met up with another English couple Mike and Terry. The next day we watched England play rugby against South Africa before heading south.
